Tennessee Benefit Concert with Jee Wong

Jee Wong is an exceptionally talented and engaging pianist who volunteers his time and talents as an ASAP ambassador. Recently, Jee performed an ASAP benefit concert entitled “United We Worship” in Collegedale, Tennessee. He was joined by local vocalists, brothers Randy and Robby Steffans, to make an unforgettable evening of heavenly music, heart-touching mission stories, amazing videos, and inspiring front-line reports from Southeast Asia.
Jee is known and loved for his enthusiastic and energetic style of piano playing as well as his passion to reach the lost. He lives in Seattle, Washington where he directs the Prosser Music Academy. His work as a solo pianist and collaborative artist has brought him across the US and to many countries abroad. Jee grew up in a Buddhist culture in Malaysia and became a Christian while attending college in Montana.
More than 250 people attended the benefit concert in the Collegedale Community Church on Saturday evening, April 23, 2011, which was Easter weekend. Pastor Wolf Jedamski gave the welcome, sharing about numerous mission trips he has led to Cambodia, working in partnership with ASAP. Byron Reynolds, ASAP board member, gave a stirring offering appeal which touched attendees to give or pledge nearly $9,000 for spreading the gospel through local missionaries to the poor in Southeast Asia. Carol Reynolds, also a board member, coordinated the event. Several volunteers helped at the ASAP exhibit area and with other details. All who attended were greatly blessed.
