Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2007
Join us in praying for those who are making incredible sacrifices for the Lord.
- Our ASAP national missionaries in Vietnam are regularly interrogated, harassed and imprisoned for their faith as they truly risk all for Christ. Pray that God would bless our Vietnamese pastors and youth evangelists who courageously make sacrifices for the Lord. Especially lift up Pastor Isah Young, leader of the underground house-church movement and the following lay-pastors featured in the fourth quarter ASAP Newsletter: Ro Chan Kiet, Nguyen Te Sanh, Lan Hahn, Dai Van Ngoc and Minh Van Pham.
- Our Cambodian pastors and church planters make many sacrifices as they work tirelessly and travel long distances by motor bike or on foot to take the gospel to those who have not heard. Pray that God would daily renew the strength of our ASAP national missionaries. This month, specifically lift up ASAP Church planter Chhoun Chheun and Pastors Pen Narith and Pen Chenda.
- Our Laotian and Hmong brothers and sisters suffer much religious persecution from governement leaders and from family members for following Jesus. Pray that God would give them much needed courage and strength to remain faithful. Especially lift up Boonpranee Wannadee, the Lao Adventist Mission President, and church planter Phon Saay, who has been elected to serve as the village chief where he lives.
- ASAP is blessed to have many friends here in the U.S. who are making incredible sacrifices so that the lost may hear of Jesus. Pray that God would richly recompense our friends, not only spiritually, emotionally and physically, but financially so that the cycle of receiving and giving can continue.
