Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER:
- God says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye” (Ps 32:8). We thank the Lord for this beautiful promise that He will guide us. The ASAP team needs your prayers as they plan for the 2010 annual mission trip to Southeast Asia. Pray that God would clearly make known the details of His plans for the team.
- We will be serving the poorest of the poor in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from Feb 3-17, 2010. Many Spirit-filled laborers are needed for the 2010 ASAP Cambodia Mission Trip. Join us in praying for more doctors, dentists, teachers, and the many other laborers God is calling who have a heart for the poor.
- God has not promised to supply all our wants, but He has certainly promised to supply all our needs (Phil 4:19). ASAP needs $485,000 for the first quarter of the 2010 fiscal year in order for the work to continue expanding in Southeast Asia. Join us in praying that God will “unlock heaven's storehouse, where are treasured the boundless resources of Omnipotence” (SC 95).
- Apart from the Holy Spirit the work we do for God is powerless, ineffective, and a waste of time and resources. Join us in praying for the mighty outpouring of God’s Spirit upon ASAP missionaries and the ASAP office staff so that they may be empowered to do His work His way. Lift up in prayer each ASAP church planter, lay pastor, youth evangelist, medical missionary and literacy teacher.
