Monthly Prayer Points

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF MAY:

Join us in praising the Lord for the way He is blessing the daily prayer meetings at ASAP which take place from 1-2 pm each day during the work week. We thank the Lord for a committed group of people who are praying earnestly for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Please unite with us in prayer for the Holy Spirit’s gifts, fruit and power.

There are many who have not yet heard about what God is doing for the poorest of the poor through ASAP in Southeast Asia. We would like to see word about ASAP spread and go into every Adventist home and church and to whoever else God impresses. We know that this may seem impossible, “but with God all things are possible” (Luke 1:37). And we believe that God is pleased when we step out in faith and expect great things from Him. Pray that God would bless ASAP and enlarge our territory. And please pray that many will learn of ASAP through the upcoming camp meetings where ASAP will be represented.

The work in Vietnam continues to spread rapidly, but not without difficulties. The work of the underground house-church movement is under attack. Please pray that God would have His hand over the underground church so that the work will continue. Pray that He would give the ASAP missionaries a rich infilling of His Spirit so they will continue to work boldly despite fierce persecution. The need for prayer is so great that we are calling all praying Christians to join us for a day of prayer and fasting on May 30 for the underground church in Vietnam.

We thank the Lord for the growth of the work overseas in Southeast Asia. Along with this great blessing comes the challenge of having more work to do with a limited staff at the ASAP home office. Please pray that God give the ASAP team strength and wisdom to work effectively and efficiently. Pray also that God would send us more laborers to help us with the work load.
