Monthly Prayer Points

PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER:

ASAP continues to look to God for great blessings as we are drawing near to the end of the 2009 fiscal year. We are claiming the “wealth of the gentiles” which has been promised in Isaiah 60:5. Pray that the Lord would shower ASAP with needed financial blessings so that many in darkness can hear about Jesus.
Myanmar is a country with great needs and a population estimated at over 47 million. The work that ASAP is doing is a drop in the bucket compared to the great needs of this country which is under a military dictatorship. Pray that the Lord would increase the scope of ASAP’s ministry in this country.
ASAP is looking forward to having Wayne Labins join the team as office manager. Wayne and his wife, Sherri, will be moving to Berrien Springs from Central California. Pray that God would prepare Wayne for his role at ASAP, and also that God would bless them in the timing of their move and sale of their home.
Pray that God would guide in the search for a temporary information manager. It is very important that we find the person with the right qualifications willing to fill in for Sara Martin. In the same breath, pray for Sara and her parents as she returns to care for her mother who is ill with cancer.
Pray for the poor rural believers in Southeast Asia who have little to eat until the harvest in January. Pray that they will have enough rain for their rice crops to flourish and that God will provide for them in the meantime.
