Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY:
- Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We thank the Lord for miraculously providing ASAP with more than $485,000 in the first quarter of the 2010 fiscal year. “This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes” (Mark 12:11). Join us in praising the Lord for His faithfulness!
- We continue to move forward on our knees with our eyes upon Jesus as we enter the 2nd quarter of the fiscal year. ASAP needs $570,000 to fund the growing work in Southeast Asia. Join us in praying that God will continue to pour out spiritual and financial blessings upon ASAP and the work in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar.
- We thank the Lord for blessing us with many good laborers for the upcoming mission trip to Cambodia in February. Join us in praying that God would outpour His Spirit and bless each volunteer with an incredible experience as they serve the people of Cambodia. Pray also that each volunteer will catch the spirit of missions and become an active ASAP Ambassador.
- During our annual trip over to Southeast Asia each year, it is very important for us to spend good quality time interviewing our workers. It is through our interviews that we find good stories for our newsletters and other publications. Pray that God bless each of our workers through us as we interview them and that God would also provide us with great stories that will bless our donors.
- We solicit your prayers for the anointing of the Holy Spirit on the ASAP team (Dr. Mary Ann McNeilus, Judy Aitken, Pastor Phamor and Martin Kim) as we teach church planters this January/February in Myanmar, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. Pray that our worker’s hearts will be open to receive the blessing of the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work in winning many souls and preparing them for Christ’s soon return.
- Opportunities for evangelism are opening up in North America. Pray for Pastor Isaiah Duong as he and his members produce religious TV programs to be aired throughout California and North America on four TV stations. Pray for Jimmy Shwe as he pastors and encourages church planting among the many Karen refugees throughout North America. Pray also for Saw Htoo as he plants a church among Karen refugees in Albany, NY.
