PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER:
- As we journey through the last month of the 2010 fiscal year, please join us in praying that God would mightily bestow upon us showers of spiritual and financial blessings so that His name can be glorified. As God’s faithfulness was revealed through the life and ministry of George Mueller, pray that His goodness and faithfulness will be revealed in a similar way for ASAP today.
- We thank the Lord for His promise that He would give wisdom to those who ask (James 1:5). Pray that God will guide ASAP and the leaders we work with in Southeast Asia as we plan and consider what projects we should partner in for the upcoming year. We want to clearly know God’s will and have faith to believe that God will provide.
- Praise the Lord for the amazing way ASAP’s prayer ministry is growing and impacting others. God poured His Holy Spirit out on the prayer rooms conducted at the Soquel Campmeeting and Arme Bible Camp. Pray that God will continue to guide ASAP in this aspect of our ministry (through online prayer partners, daily local prayer partners and prayer rooms held during events and in churches) so that the fire of revival can spread.
- Pray that God would show our donors (whom He has entrusted with means), exactly when He would have them give of their resources (before it is too late) and what project(s) to give to for the spreading of the gospel.
- Pray that our ASAP national missionaries (church planters, lay pastors, medical missionaries, Bible workers, literacy teachers and youth evangelists) would seek to be emptied of self, desire a deeper level of consecration, and seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. “There is no limit to the usefulness of one who, by putting self aside, makes room for the working of the Holy Spirit upon his heart, and lives a life wholly consecrated to God” (DA 250).
