Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY 2011:
- We are praising the Lord for the many pastors and church leaders of different denominations who are learning about the Adventist message in Vietnam. They are studying with their members numbering in the thousands. Pray that God would pour out His Spirit and bless the church leaders and their members with understanding as they listen to Pr. Isah Young’s DVD sermons and the Peace and Happiness Broadcast.
- The Cambodian Adventist Mission (CAM) has had to lay off 35 ASAP literacy teachers due to lack of funding. Please pray that God would provide for the needs of those who have been laid off. Please also pray that God would mightily outpour His Spirit on CAM and ASAP so that the work of God will still mightily move forward despite fewer laborers.
- There are thousands of Karen refugees who have resettled in various parts of the U.S. who are facing great challenges. They are like sheep without a shepherd. Please pray that the SDA conferences and local churches will be awakened to the ministry opportunity and that ASAP and others will be able to reach out and spiritually nurture these humble, precious brothers and sisters.
- Our great need is for more Spirit-filled laborers who will leave their comfort zone and step into the faith zone in order to reach the unreached in Southeast Asia and also work among resettled Southeast Asians here in the U.S. “Pray for the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Matt. 9:38).
