Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF MAY:
- ASAP Administrative/Training Trip—Our ASAP team will be in Southeast Asia in May/June to train and spiritually encourage the national missionaries, gather good stories to share and to check on the progress of the projects. Please pray that God will bless the team with the Holy Spirit and safe traveling mercies. May angels protect them from airborne/food borne illnesses and from mosquitoes which carry harmful viruses.
- Training of National Missionaries—We are told in the Spirit of Prophecy that “God can teach [us] more in one moment by His Holy Spirit than [we] could learn from the great men of the earth” {1SM 415}. Pray that God will send the Holy Spirit to teach and bless the training of our national missionaries.
- Thai Border Camps—The lives of thousands of Seventh-day Adventist refugees on the Thai/Myanmar border are potentially in great danger if Thailand closes its border camps and sends more than 100,000 refugees back to Myanmar. Please pray that God would work in a special way so that these refugees will be able to remain in the camps or have a chance to resettle in safe countries.
- Power of United Prayer—We are witnessing many lives being changed through the power of united prayer. As we introduce united prayer to the people of South East Asia, please pray that the Holy Spirit would work in a mighty way and bless the people with a mighty revival.
- Life-Changing Projects—ASAP would like to explore the possibility of starting several new life-changing projects such as a Safe House for exploited children, vocational training, gardening and other projects. Pray that God would open doors for these projects so that people and church plants can become self-sustaining and enjoy a better quality of life.
