January 2012
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF JANUARY:
- Our ASAP Partners – We praise the Lord for our faithful prayer partners and donors who give of their time and resources so the gospel can go to Southeast Asia. Please pray that God would continue to outpour His Spirit and financial blessings upon our partners so they can continue to be human channels through which God can pour forth the waters of salvation in abundant streams.
- Karen Refugees – The Karen refugees continue to make their way to the United States from Myanmar. Many will step out of airports wearing shorts and flip flops and will experience snow and cold weather for the first time. Please pray that God will bless and guide them as they adjust to their new life here in America. Pray also that God will raise up more laborers who will be willing to reach out and nurture them spiritually.
- Open Our Eyes – We are currently working on our next ASAP video which will have the theme “Open Our Eyes”. The video will focus on the church planting work in Myanmar and the Karen refugees. Please pray that God would guide the ASAP team and Frank Spangler, our videographer, as we work on this project.
- ASAP National Workers – We are told: “The presence of the Spirit with God's workers will give the proclamation of truth a power that not all the honor or glory of the world could give” (Acts of the Apostles, p. 50). Please pray that God would baptize our national workers daily with a rich measure of His Spirit. Please pray that God would also bless our ASAP team at the home office with the Holy Spirit.
