Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF AUGUST 2007
Join us in praying daily for the work in Vietnam. Jesus says, “…whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:13,14). Let’s claim this promise as we lift up the work in Vietnam.
- We praise God for thirty-five former Evangelical Vietnamese pastors who have accepted the truth of the Sabbath and led their congregations to the decision of becoming Seventh-day Adventists. Pray that God would strengthen these Vietnamese pastors as they stand for the truth.
- Many of our brothers and sisters in Vietnam daily suffer persecution. Pray that God would bless our lay pastors and workers with continued strength and protection.
- ASAP hopes to sponsor more pastors because there are still many unreached areas in Vietnam. Pray that God would provide the financial support that is needed.
- Pastor Isah Young, leader of the underground house-church movement, works with his wife Mai, a team of assistants and church members to produce the Vietnamese Peace & Happiness radio broadcasts. Pray that God would give them much needed wisdom and guidance for this work.
