Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER 2007
Join us in praying daily this month for our churches in SE Asia. We are told: “Human power and human might did not establish the church of God, and neither can they destroy it. Not on the rock of human strength, but on Christ Jesus, the Rock of Ages, was the church founded, ‘and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.’ Matt. 16:18. The presence of God gives stability to His cause” (PK 596). Let’s rejoice in the power of God as we pray!
- The Wanmuang Village in Laos has been abundantly blessed in the past year. Pray for God’s guidance as ASAP begins building the church/school for this village. Also pray for Teacher Visian in this village, who has been witnessing to the local monks. Several have accepted Jesus as their Savior and decided to resign as monks. Click here for full story.
- We praise the Lord for giving Pr. Bounpranee, the president of the Lao Adventist Field, wisdom when asking the government permission to build six new churches in Laos. Pray that God will supply the funding for these projects and that His name will be glorified in these villages through the churches.
- Pray that the building of the church in Pakse, Laos will successfully be completed.
- Pray for continued protection of the existing churches in Cambodia and Vietnam that are not registered with the government.
- Pray that God would provide needed funding to build more churches/house churches and provide for needed repairs or replacement of the churches in Vietnam and Cambodia.
