PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER:

  • We thank the Lord for all the funds that have come in to help our Adventist brothers and sisters who have suffered great loss because of cyclone Nargis. Join us in praising God for being a faithful Provider and rescuing His children in time of need.

  • Suttee Kejonson, an ASAP sponsored lay pastor, recently passed away. We are grateful for this praying man's faithful service to the Lord. Please pray that the Lord would comfort his family and continue to guide and bless the church that Suttee worked for in the Ban Nongkai village in Thailand.

  • Our brothers and sisters in Cambodia are suffering from a number of natural disasters. Thousands of hectors of rice fields have been damaged in several provinces because of a severe drought. Other provinces have been affected by terrible flooding which have also destroyed rice fields.  Please pray that God would provide needed funding as ASAP seeks to provide rice, water and help the church members through this difficult time.

  • The Sda Center (pronounced sadah), meaning "to restore", has been a refuge for Cambodian Adventists suffering from HIV/AIDS virus. It is situated in a poor section in the Southern part of Phnom Penh. Please pray that the Lord will give ASAP and the leaders of the Cambodian Adventist Mission guidance as they make plans to move and build a permanent center for these people.
