BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
My role is to stay connected with donors and bridge them to the projects and workers in the mission field.
SCHOOLING
Bachelor of Music in Piano from Manhattan School of Music (2003), Master of Music and Performer Diploma in Piano from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (2006, 2013), and Doctor of Music in Orchestral Conducting from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (2014).
HOW YOU WERE ORIGINALLY CONNECTED TO ASAP
I worked in Cambodia from 2016 to 2021 as a GC ISE missionary and ASAP helped with transferring donations from the US to Cambodia. I was always grateful for ASAP’s honesty in transferring all the funds, not even taking out a single dime, and meticulously auditing all spending (it wasn’t easy on my part, but I appreciated ASAP’s integrity of holding me accountable to do my part of reporting all expenses and making sure that the money goes where it was promised.)
WHEN YOU STARTED WORKING WITH ASAP
I started working at ASAP on September 1, 2022.
FAVORITE ASAP PROJECT
I love that ASAP is raising future leaders in the field through education.
WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK
I enjoy spending time with my family and making music.
YOUR FAVORITE BIBLE TEXT
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary and to the one who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” (Isaiah 40:28-31)
