BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
I assist the Treasurer and the Data Entry Manager in processing donor-related information and other miscellaneous office duties.
I am finishing my final year at Andrews University with a BBA in Accounting and a BA in Spanish Studies.
HOW YOU WERE ORIGINALLY CONNECTED TO ASAP
I first heard about ASAP Ministries at a career fair at Andrews and was drawn to their ministry and passion for helping others. A year later, I felt God calling me to make a change in my life and find a new job. I walked into Nethery Hall at Andrews University and saw a job posting for ASAP ... and here I am!
WHEN YOU STARTED WORKING WITH ASAP
I started working with ASAP in October 2018.
YOUR FAVORITE ASAP PROJECT
I have a passion for children and education, and I love the Feed and Read program because it gives children the opportunity to get off the streets and into the classroom, where they can learn to read and write, but more importantly, they learn about a God who loves them.
WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK
I enjoy traveling, running, reading, playing the piano ... and anything that involves being out in nature.
ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE BIBLE TEXTS
Psalm 37:3, 4, 25: "Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.... I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken nor his descendants begging bread."
