BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Mission Outreach Office Manager, I divide my time between assisting the Associate Director and the Communications Director, as well as managing the needs of the office. Some of what I do includes responding to the needs of national missionaries and refugee groups from the 10/40 window and North America, as well as promoting the mission of ASAP through social media.
I graduated with a degree in music, with a minor in Biblical languages, from Avondale College, in Australia. Since then, I have taken coursework in business, as well as in the Master of Divinity program at Andrews University.
HOW YOU WERE ORIGINALLY CONNECTED TO ASAP
I became familiar with ASAP through a friend of min who began involvement with ASAP Ministries several years ago.
WHEN YOU STARTED WORKING WITH ASAP
I have been working for ASAP since October 2018.
YOUR FAVORITE ASAP PROJECT
A personal experience makes a deeper impact than simply knowing about a project. That's why the Adventist Learning Center in Beirut, Lebanon, where I lived in 2016, is my favorite project. I was able to see firsthand how the learning center is able to impact the lives of others!
WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK
I'm passionate about theology and mission, and I love to read. In my spare time, when I'm not reading or going for walks with my husband, I produce a podcast series for Generation. Youth. Christ.
ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE BIBLE TEXTS
Daniel 12:3: "Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever."
