Aimee Lemos

BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION
In my role as the Agricultural Consultant Assistant, I assist my husband, Drew Lemos, the Agricultural Consultant. Our main goal is to share the love and truth about Jesus through the way we live our lives. We also hope to develop the Living Water Farm. We will begin seed preservation projects throughout Southeast Asia so that ASAP schools and projects can generate income to support the operations.

SCHOOLING
I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Pacific Union College. I also received my Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from San Jose State University. Before working with ASAP, I worked as a Hand Therapist in Modesto, CA.

HOW YOU WERE ORIGINALLY CONNECTED TO ASAP
My husband and I originally connected to ASAP through our Grammy Betty. She told us about the mission opportunity right before our wedding and we felt God calling us. I remember on our honeymoon my husband saying, “I feel like we’re being launched.” He was right, God was preparing our hearts to launch to Southeast Asia just 8 months later.

WHEN YOU STARTED WORKING WITH ASAP
I started working with ASAP in May 2022.

FAVORITE ASAP PROJECT
My favorite ASAP project is, of course, Living Water Farm. However, I do admire the ASAP project that is currently teaching Pakistani refugees in Thailand.

WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of work I like to hike and explore God’s beautiful nature. I enjoy HIIT gym classes and baking, and I also like to go out to eat – especially delicious vegan food!

YOUR FAVORITE BIBLE TEXT
"It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8
