I got to know ASAP through my Professor, Dr. Jerry Chi, who also happened to be my academic advisor and the Graduate Program Director and Assistant Dean at the Andrews University School of Business. ASAP reached out to request a candidate for a Finance Assistant position, and thankfully, Dr. Chi recommended me for this position.
WHEN YOU STARTED WORKING WITH ASAP
I started working as an intern on May 15, 2023, while completing my MBA at Andrews University.
FAVORITE ASAP PROJECT
When I got on board with the ASAP team, I realized how great all the projects were. I have a great passion for children’s education. So, I love all the projects ASAP does that involve the education of at-risk children.
WHAT YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK
When I get some spare time outside work, I listen to sermons and hymnals on YouTube. I also enjoy listening to the audio Bible.
YOUR FAVORITE BIBLE TEXT
It is hard to choose a favorite Bible verse. I enjoy reading and listening to the stories and promises in the Bible. In every season and time comes a Bible text that I choose particularly to suit the occasion and the circumstance. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us”(Romans 8:18). This Bible text speaks a lot to me in all challenging situations, whether in mission work, or other areas of my life. And I surely cannot wait to see our Savior coming in His glory.
