Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is an ASAP Advocate?

An ASAP Advocate is a volunteer who helps introduce their church to the work God is doing through ASAP Ministries. Advocates coordinate the showing of three short mission videos and invite church members to subscribe to our free weekly mission stories.

  • What exactly will I be asked to do?

The program is intentionally simple. Over approximately six weeks, you'll:

    • Ask your pastor for permission to show three mission videos.
    • Coordinate with your church's audio/visual team.
    • Distribute bulletin inserts.
    • Collect any completed paper signup forms and send them to ASAP Ministries.

We'll provide the resources and instructions for every step.

  • Will I have to speak in front of the church?

No. You are not expected to preach, give a presentation, or ask for donations. Your role is simply to help coordinate the videos and materials.

  • Is this a fundraising program?

No. The purpose is to help church members learn about God's work in Southeast Asia and sign up to receive free weekly mission stories.

  • What resources will I receive?

    Your resource kit includes:

    • Mission videos
    • Bulletin inserts
    • A letter for your pastor
    • Download instructions for your AV team
    • Additional supporting resources and instructions
  • What if I have questions?
